This sceptred isle...this realm, this England...

England is amazing. It's basically everything I hoped it would be, I think I can say, fairly safely after seeing parts of London, Oxford and Cambridge. So much of it is because there is SO much HISTORY everywhere you turn. For example, our friends live in the lovely Chalfont St. Peter, just outside Gerrard’s Cross, which is so old that it’s in the Doomsday Book!

The only thing I could possibly complain about is my lack of proper rainy weather footgear.
